A simple yet elegant Italian sauce, Butter & Sage Sauce is rich, velvety, and infused with the warm, earthy aroma of fresh sage. Perfectly paired with delicate pasta like ravioli or gnocchi, this sauce enhances every bite with its smooth texture and subtle herbaceous flavor.

- 4 tsp Butter unsalted
- 5 - 6 Fresh sage leaves
- Parmesan cheese grated
Few cloves of garlic minced
- Salt and Pepper to taste

- Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
- Pay attention not to let the butter burn.
- Add the sage leaves and let them infuse a few minutes, until the butter becomes perfumed with the sage aroma, add a couple of tablespoons of the water the ravioli is cooking in.
- Keep it in very low heat
- When the ravioli are cooked, take them out of the pot using a slotted spoon and transfer to the saucepan with the sage and butter .
- Remove the leaves, and then add the grated parmesan and ground pepper.
- Toss gently a couple times and serve in warmed dishes.
